Contents:

Economics and Management of Natural Resources deals with the efficient and sustainable use of non-renewable and renewable resources. The key question is how intense should a resource be exploited. The answer to that question depends on a number of biological and economic factors, that will be discussed extensively during lectures.

Aims:

The student should acquire knowledge about the sustainable and efficient use of natural resources. The student should be able to read international articles and textbooks on the topic.

Activities:

Lectures. Studying textbook and articles. Solving practical problems during practicals.

Examination:

The student will be tested by way of a written exam.
