Contents:

This course, especially intended for BDW students, consists of international study visits for one week, that help students to reflect on novel animal husbandry practices in nearby but foreign countries within EU.

Learning outcomes:

After successful completion of this course students are expected to be able to identify and explain the current situation of and developments in animal husbandry of a guest country.

Activities:

During the international study visits, students visit universities, institutes and agro-business organizations in countries around the Netherlands.

Examination:

Go/no go for the international study visits.

Literature:

A hand-out will be prepared before the international study visits.
