Assumed knowledge on:

Completed at least the first year of the relevant BSc-programme.

Contents:

This course is primarily aimed at students registered in the BSc Nutrition and Health and the BSc Forestry and Nature Conservation programme. Students will participate in a professional assessment and, supported by staff, will translate these outcomes in the context of their current programme and future choices.

Learning outcomes:

After successful completion of this course, students are expected to have gained more insight into their own qualities and can relate this to choices to be made within the programme. Students can create a sound motivation for their choices.

Activities:

Introduction lecture, online assessment, group-meeting on how to interpret the assessment outcome, 3 meetings with groupwork translating results to choices in the programme, helping each other creating sound motivations, write motivation.
Students can only participate in this course in the period that it is offered for their BSc programme. The activities might differ slightly between the different BSc programmes.

Examination:

Grading will be based on a testimonial pass or fail. Successful completion of the assessment and attending of all meetings are required.
The grading will be based on the individually written motivation.
