In AMC II an actual, real world, interdiciplinary case study is tackled. AMC II follows AMC I, where the needed skills are taught. In this course a case study is worked out by a group of 4-7 students, in which the skills taught in AMC I , and disciplinary knowledge on a MSc level, are applied. The offered cases cover a wide range of actual problems in the field of environmental sciences, originating from institutions and stakeholders, preferably from outside the university ( the client). Students may choose a case, that is most in line with their individual ideas of preferred job direction. The student group negotiates with the client about the terms of reference and work plan (including budgets) and prepares and presents a report that is satisfactory for the client. The student group should combine the skills of the group members to achieve optimal results. Feed back on the mastering of the skills taught in AMC I is foreseen during the execution of the case. The group is guided during the process by a staffmember of the university (process supervisor) and can request help from professional experts.
