Contents:

In Academic Master Cluster part I (AMC I), skills, including Project Planning and Management, are taught, that are necessary for graduates to function in jobs on MSc level. An assessment determines for each individual student which skills (competences) are already mastered. In consultation with the MSc course coordinator /study advisor the needed skills are defined. Feed back on the mastering of the taught skills is not only foreseen in part I, but also in the application phase (YES-60504 AMC II), where the skills are applied in an interdisciplinary case study. AMC I and AMC II form the Academic Master Cluster of 8 credit points.

Aims:

Acquiring sufficient insight and working knowledge of the skills to be applied in problem definition, problem analysis, tender and working out solution(s) in a realistic case study on MSc level.

Activities:

Lectures/workshops, individual and group assignments and feed back on acquired skills.

Examination:

Individual and group marking on the basis of performance during the elements of the course.
