Learning outcomes:

After successful completion of this course students are expected to be able to:
- understand the state of the art in research and development in several food technology application areas in the visited country;
- understand how food technology is applied in several companies and research and development groups at universities and research institutes in the visited country;
- identify different approaches in research and development, when comparing it with the approaches used in the Netherlands.
