Students with (supervised) work experience on an academic level may exchange the internship for a second thesis in consultation with your study adviser.
RO1 Career preparation: choose RO1A, RO1B, RO1C, RO1D or RO1E in consultation with your study adviser.
RO1A: General track. YMC-60300 is an 'umbrella' code. Instead, choose and register for 3 credits worth of modular skills (MOS) courses. For an overview of possible MOS courses please see under YMC-60300 in the study handbook. Complete the track with YMC-60809 Academic Consultancy Training.
RO1B: Research track: choose YEI-60312 Research Master Cluster: Proposal Writing.
RO1C: Climate change track: choose WSG-60812.
RO1D: Entrepeneurship track: The internship needs to be co-supervised by ECS or MST. Further details see: http://www.wageningenur.nl/en/article/MSc-Track-Entrepreneurship.htm.
RO1E: Educational track. Dutch students who want to become a full registered teacher in Physics ('eerstegraadsbevoegdheid Natuurkunde) may, after permission from your study adviser, replace the specialization related internship with the education internship ECS-70430. In addition and also after permission, students can replace the 12 credits from RO1 by specific teacher oriented courses. In this way, the extent of the postgraduate teacher-education programme is significantly reduced.
