RO1: Depending on your preparatory education, choose 1 course in consultation and agreement with your study adviser. At the study adviser's discretion, the selected course may be exchanged for an advanced course of similar orientation.
RO2: Choose A, B or C in consultation and agreement with your study adviser.
YMC-60300 is a generic code that itself cannot be selected. Instead, choose 3 credits of modular skills courses as listed in the Study Handbook under YMC-60300.
RO3: Select 1 internship. You may exchange the internship for a second thesis (minor) if you have (supervised) work experience on an academic level.
Select 1 cluster from RO4-RO10 in consultation and agreement with your study adviser:
- If RO4 is selected, choose 1 thesis from RO4A and 2 courses from RO4B in preparation for the selected thesis subject.
- If RO5 is selected, choose 1 course from RO5B in preparation for your thesis. Choose RO5A too if your study adviser deems it necessary.
- If RO6 is selected, choose 1 thesis from RO6A and 2 courses from RO6B in preparation for the selected thesis subject.
- If RO7 is selected, choose 1 thesis from RO7A and 2 courses from RO7B in preparation for the selected thesis subject.
- If RO8 is selected, choose 1 course from RO8A, 1 thesis from RO8B and 2 courses from RO8C in preparation for the selected thesis subject.
- If RO9 is selected, choose 1 course from RO9B in preparation for your thesis. Choose RO9A too if your study adviser deems it necessary.
- If RO10 is selected, choose 12 credits from RO10B in preparation for your thesis. Choose RO10A too if your study adviser deems it necessary.
Notes:
1. You may apply for the Climate-KIC certificate issued by the European Institute of Technology. This certificate is awarded if you meet specific admission requirements, complete extra-curricular study activities (including a summer school and a series of seminars), and meet specific requirements regarding your major thesis and internship.
2. There is a selective track Sustainable Development Diplomacy attached to the Environmental Policy cluster (RO10).
3. There is a selective research-oriented track.
