Regular Programme
Select in consultation and agreement with the study adviser one internship or minor thesis from RO1. In consultation and agreement with the study adviser the minor thesis may also be taken with another social science chair group.
Select one course from RO2.
Select RO3.
Before starting YMC-60809 the two specialization courses (the compulsory course of the specialization and one of the thesis related courses) should be completed.

Research Master Variant
Select in consultation and agreement with the study adviser one minor thesis from RO1. In consultation and agreement with the study adviser the minor thesis may also be taken with another social science chair group.
Select one course from RO2.
Select RO4. Select in consultation and agreement with your study adviser two courses from RO4A.
The courses together compose the Research Master Cluster.

A - Sociology of Development



Limited choice:

Regular Programme
RO0: If your educational background differs from the BSc International Development Studies of Wageningen University: select RDS-31806, and select in consultation and agreement with your study adviser 0 - 24 credits further courses. The study adviser can determine that courses are obligatory for a student.
Select one cluster from RO1-RO4.
Select 0 - 4 courses from RO5 in consultation and agreement with your study adviser.
Select in consultation and agreement with the study adviser profiling courses to complete the programme.

Students will only be admitted to the major thesis after completion of the compulsory specialization course and the thesis related RO1, RO2, RO3 or RO4 course. In addition, dependent on the study contract agreed upon with the study adviser, methods courses and other supporting courses have to be completed before starting the thesis.
