Contents:
The course teaches you how to set up mass and energy balances for bioreactors applied in water technology.
Learning outcomes:
At the end of the course, you should be able to set up and use mathematical models for bioreactor design.
Activities:
There is a limited number of lectures (C) and we offer frequent opportunities for guided exercises and case studies (PE). Furthermore, with a group of students you will conduct a fermentation experiment based on model calculations (PI). Both the model calculations and the experiment are compulsory.
