Contents:

As a final course of the GRS-minor students carry out a small individual research in the domain of geo-information science including remote sensing topics and write a thesis about the followed methodology and findings.

Learning outcomes:

On successful completion of this course students are expected to demonstrate that they do understand concepts and methods and are able to apply these in case of a specific research objective. The report is supposed to contain a clearly structured argument that supports the methodology and findings.

Activities:

Simulating a thesis setting under supervision and attending some practical and tutorials considering general research objectives.

Examination:

Examination will be based on the quality criteria regarding the report structure and content.

Literature:

All research projects will be offered via a file that consists of a written research context and objective, related data and literature.
