Contents:

This course is the continuation of FTE-12303 Introduction Agrotechnology part 1. See the description of that course. In the second part consists of the remaining three relevant topics, the module oral presenting and the preparation of the report.

Learning outcomes:

At the end of the course the students are expected to be:
- acquainted with the domain biosystems engineering;
- aware of the importance of the (agro)production chain;
- acquainted with the technology and technological issues in biosystems engineering: automation, energy, environment and welfare, climate control, and production chains and logistics;
- able to do a literature research, read literature, structure the information found and identify the important issues and separate the main issues from the side issues;
- able to give a presentation.

Lectures, tutorials, practicals, excursions.

Examination:

Written exam, individual report.

A reader with course information and relevant literature is available at the beginning of the course.
