Contents:

In the Capita Selecta specific concepts / technologies / applications in the field of geo-information science will be explored.

Learning outcomes:

- awareness of scientific developments;
- exploration of specific methods and technologies;
- rapid prototyping in application fields;
- preparation of thesis subjects;
- processing of thesis results into articles.

Activities:

- students are required to work individually on a certain subject by desktop activities ( literature study, use of dedicated software, reporting).
- the subjects could be accompanied by a set of lectures and ICT-based learning materials.

Examination:

Based on a selected set of learning outcomes and related competences to be discussed with the student at the beginning of the course.

Literature:

Based on the selected items literature and website will be provided.
