This integration courses is meant for students following the BSc minor Conservation Tourism. In this course we seek relations between themes discussed in different courses belonging to this minor. By discussing emerging themes and interests in small groups, students will gain a better understanding of how themes of the minor interrelate. Students are asked to share insights, provide feedback and work on a personal case and context of conservation tourism. At the end of the course, students are asked to present their work in form of a poster presentation.
Note: The BSc minor Integrated Conservation Tourism should be followed simultaneously with this course.
After successful completion of this course students are expected to be able to:
- debate and integrate various themes, theories and approaches in Conservation Tourism
- individually gather and design an integrated case study of conservation tourism.
Group discussion and poster presentations.
