THIS COURSE WILL NOT BE TAUGHT AS SUCH.
It combines the work on skills during the 3 years of the BVG programme.
Throughout the BSc Nutrition and Health programme, students are trained in 3 core skills: "Presenting", "Writing" and "Collaboration". These three core skills will be trained/practiced in Learning trajectories integrated in regular courses of the BVG programme. Addiditionaly, several supportive skills including "Information literacy", "Reflection", "Computer skills" et cetera are included in this course.
In a portfolio students will record their progress in development of these skills and look back at it annually.
In the last year, students will be assessed on the three Core skills according to the Performance level documents that guide student development from the moment students start with this course.
After successful completion of this course students are expected to be able to:
at an academic bachelor level.
Complete skills-related assignments integrated in regular course of the BVG programme. Maintain a skills portfolio throughout the BSc Nutrition and Health programme.
Reflect on annual progression in personal development on the 3 indicated skills, based on training/practice during other courses.
The "Collaboration" skill will be assessed during an assignment in P6 of BVG year-2
The "Writing" and "Presenting" skill will be assessed as part of the BVG thesis in year-3
