Contents:
The course is an introduction into the political, legal and administrative processes and factors, which influence public and administrative decision and policy making. The position and role of various actors in these processes such as governmental institutions, commercial entities, political parties and non-governmental organisations will be studies. Existing state and political systems will be compared and analysed and evaluated on the basis of legal, political science and public administration theories. Development and transitional processes will be highlighted. The course is problem and policy oriented.
Aims:
1. to increase knowledge of state system and state formation processes;
2. to understand policy and decision making processes;
3. to develop capacity to analyze and solve policy and administration related problems.
